FAQ

2019 Micro Brew Race Regulations:

​

  • Pilots must follow the course set up by the Race Director and will receive 1 point per lap within a start tone and prior to a, "race has ended" signal or as indicated by the Race Director.

 

​

  • Pilots will receive 3 points for completing a race and being designated as the winner.

 

​

  • All gates must be passed through in the correct direction to be eligible for a point per lap award.

 

 

  • Races can be called off and Re-Ran if one or both of the pilots are unable to fly through the first Gate.

 

 

  • If a pilot has been allowed to Re-Run a Race due to an issue with equipment he or she can be bumped to a later heat if requested.

 

 

  • No more than two false starts will be allowed per race per pilot.

  • The Race Director will designate a Judge for every race to verify gates and make final calls on race result disputes.

\\WHAT IS A TINY WHOOP

A Tiny Whoop is a micro-quadcopter with ducted blades and an FPV camera. And while there are similarities between many of these models, the actual “Tiny Whoop” was created by a passionate guy from Fort Collins, Colorado named Jesse Perkins.

If you have a DSMX or Frsky Transmitter FPV googles or Tiny Whoop you are allowed to join a Event and follow along.

 

 

\\GUESTS

You may bring a guest plus Parent if it applies.

 

 

\\FOOD and DRINK

You may bring a water, soda or small snack.

 

 

\\WEATHER

Bring appropriate protection for the weather.

 

 

\\THESE ITEMS ARE ALLOWED

Parents, Friends Snacks and a desire to have fun and learn about Drones.

 

 

\\THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED

Weapons, Alcohol  and a bad attitude.
